Hoffmeister to be official sponsor of the Professional Lighting
Design Convention (PLD-C) 2011 in Madrid

Hoffmeister Leuchten GmbH will be one of the sponsors of the Professional Lighting Design Convention taking place from 19-22 October 2011 in Madrid. Following conventions in London (2007) and Berlin (2009), internationally renowned lighting experts will meet this year in the Spanish capital for the world's largest gathering in the lighting design scene.

The conference has established itself as an important element in the lighting network of light designers, architects, professors and students as well as manufacturers in the luminaire industry.

A total of 65 lectures will be held in four parallel forums at the renowned Círcolo de Bellas Artes, where Picasso himself once took painting classes. Both internationally respected experts and young up-and-coming talent will give talks there on all aspects of light.

The spectrum will range from open artistic topics on creative lighting and theoretical looks at technology to practical reports from daily life.

An interesting exhibition, also featuring innovative light and luminaire solutions from Hoffmeister, will accompany the three-day event.
