Official opening of the new Hoffmeister factory
The new Hoffmeister factory was opened at the first of July with an opening ceremonial and about 100 of invited guests of industry and politics. Dr. Jürgen Neubert, General Manager of Hoffmeister Leuchten GmbH welcomed René van Schooten the CEO of Philips Lighting, Eindhoven. Among other guests the vice president of the Landtag of Nordrhein-Westfalen, Mrs. Angela Freimuth, the member of the Landtag Bernd Schulte and the mayor of the town of Schalksmühle, Bernd Schönenberg, took part in the ceremony.
Furthermore numerous guests of the domestic industry and representatives of the lighting- and architectural press were present. Within a press conference they could inform themselves about the latest developments and activities of Hoffmeister Leuchten.

The hi.vertical inground luminaires with coloured T5 (T16) fluorescent lamps create a very smooth lighting effect with a very close mounting distance between façade and luminaire of about 50 cm only. |

1.8 million euros has been invested in new site in Schalksmühle with its floor area of 11,000 square meters to meet the requirements of the luminaire manufacturer. The showroom is the heart of the company where the high quality of its most important core products can be effectively showcased. Pure, innovative and design-led. Hoffmeister is opening up further areas for more lighting applications for its customers, architects and planners.
