The downlights of the DL 100 LED series are especially suitable for applications with limited installation space, for example in furniture or for setting directed light accents in living and office areas. This very small recessed downlight integrates perfectly with both modern architecture and historic buildings. Typical outdoor areas of application include canopies, terraces and swimming pools, as well as fitness and wellness zones.

The downlights of the DL 100 LED series conform to protection class IP65 (IP20 devices) and fulfil the stringent requirements for lights used in both public and private areas.

LED modules with a rated output of 6W are used in the downlights of the DL 100 LED series. These LEDs achieve a light output ratio of 100 lumens/watt. Compared with a modern low-voltage halogen lamp with ~900 lumens and an output of 50 watts, that means about 500% more luminous efficiency with the same expenditure of energy. Two colour temperatures are available: warm white (3,000K) and neutral white (6,500K).
