DL170 un.limited LED

For the first time, there is a recessed downlight with LED technology for the field of general lighting. With a light output ratio of 93% and luminous power of 3,000 lm (LED module), the new downlight DL 170 un.limited creates new lighting solutions that normally require lights with 2x32W compact fluorescent lamps. With its flattering dimensions, the luminaire needs only as much room as a typical 13W recessed downlights.

The DL 170 un.limited can be used wherever long-life homogeneous lighting is needed in combination with high energy efficiency: in office and administrative areas, conference rooms, entry and receiving zones as well as rooms for sales and presentations. The DL 170 un.limited can also display its advantages in public buildings such as schools, kindergartens, theatres and cinemas, and in hotels and restaurants.

With a UGR value ≤ 19, the LED downlight fulfils the stringent requirements for reducing glare and is therefore ideal for general lighting of office environments. For rooms requiring less light, the downlight is available on request with a 1,100 lm LED module.

The entire family of DL 170 and DL 250 downlights offers an impressive range of variability. For complete design implementation with varying requirements, diverse downlights are available with technical and optical design variants - such as wall washers, swivel-mounted lights and models with louvres or decorative glass elements.

In 2010 the entire lighting system of the plenary hall in the Düsseldorf state parliament was extensivtly renewed. The original lighting with high-output metal halide lamps has been replaced by recessed downlights DL 170 un.limited LED.
